Syncerus is the duo formed by Gisela Bianchi and Tomás Mazlumian, two multi-instrumentalists whose musical bond goes beyond the artistic: it is professional, personal… and family.
Origins and style
Their connection began years ago, when Gisela was Tomás’s vocal coach. What started as a student–teacher relationship grew into a strong friendship, a natural artistic collaboration… and eventually into love. That personal journey also shaped their music: Syncerus was born out of the need to create something authentic, blending emotion and sonic diversity.
Although Rock is always their starting point, their sound crosses genres: folk, blues, soul, grunge, country, and pop. Each song is approached organically, giving it exactly what it needs—textures, atmosphere, and feeling.
Inspirations
Their roots draw from legends such as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Janis Joplin, Etta James, and Ella Fitzgerald, as well as contemporary artists like Chris Stapleton, Kaleo, and Hozier.
